Born in a small village in Ekhaya, Noxolo was the daughter of a smith and a healer. It became clear that she was the new Avatar of Fire when was 6 years old, as she helped her father at the forge by grabbing a piece of hot metal from the forge and felt no pain.
Noxolo grew older and more powerful she became a headstrong and energetic woman, and she made a name for herself as a hunter and monster slayer. At age 16 she was able to single-handedly fight off a troll raiding party thanks to her fire.
