The Dominion of Syrika is a matriarchal monarchy in the southern tip of the eastern half of Moria, they dominate the seas with their great warships.
Very recently the royal family was assassinated during the queens wedding, with no clear heir the nation plunged into a civil war between three factions.
The Arda's who support lady Arden's claim to the throne, she is the youngest surviving member of the original royal family but at only 12 years old many think she is too young to rule and would only be used as a puppet by her advisors.
The Brandt's who seek to put the noble family Karbrant on the throne, the Karbrandts are a strong and respected family among the military and naval houses who feel like the nation will need a strong and iron handed ruler to deal with the aftermath of the assassination.
And the Abolitionists who seek to put an end to the monarchy and form a parliamentary republic in its place, though they lack much support due to being seen as either opportunistically using the royal families death, or blamed for the assassination as they would have the most to gain from it.
