Personal history
Born shortly after the Holy Roman Empire was dissolved to a minor Prussian noble, Wilhelm had a relatively easy mortal life. He spent much of his early years on his fathers estate just outside of Königsberg. Twenty short years after his birth while attending the University of Königsberg Wilhelm met Clara Naumann. He was struck by her beauty and spent a few short weeks courting her before he was finally able to spend some time alone with her. Clara brought the naive young noble back to an apartment, where she drained him of his blood, and brought him back as one of her own, and his existence as a kindred began. Much to the disappointment of his cruel, and manipulative sire Wilhelm did not show any of the usual aptitudes displayed by Clan Ventrue, and it did not take long for his sire, who had quickly realized that he had risen as a clanless wretch, to throw him to the side. She cut ties with the fledgling child, leaving Wilhelm to fight and learn in the world of kindred himself. Wilhelm blundered through kindred society making many enemies, some of which hounded him for years, eventually driving him to flee his home, and hide in France where he eventually fell into a deep torpor. Waking sometime around 2007 Wilhelm found a much changed world, and made great haste to familiarize himself with the modern world. Still an outcast among his own kind Wilhelm eventually found refuge with the newly freed Gargoyles, and learned much with them, both how to properly harness the power in his blood, and the basics of how to maneuver in hostile kindred society. Now Wilhelm has come to Morgantown drawn by rumors of a benevolent prince who aims to build a harmonious kindred society. Wilhelm hopes that he can find safety in the city, and perhaps begin to build something for those left on the wayside by the majority of kindred society, both other caitiff, and lesser clans, or bloodlines that are often persecuted.

Growing up as a child during the beginning of romanticism Wilhelm spent much of his youth fascinated with the works of authors like Byron, and Mary Shelley, and though he never gained much skill in poetry or storytelling, books like The Modern Prometheus, and The Last Man instilled in him a passion for the natural sciences. He would put this passion to good use during his attendance to the University of Königsberg, where he studied both natural sciences and the practice of law, up until his untimely death in 1830.
