Anatomy

A tall people, the Peckdel are slender and nimble. Their hands have long dexterous fingers and their sense of touch is uniquely discriminatory and sensitive, affording a degree of manual dexterity rarely seen. Their light frames and long limbs incline them towards climbing and acrobatics.
Their hair is soft and straight, growing in two layers - the inner hair is insulative while the outer is waterproof though this provides little practical benefit as male Peckdel grow hair only on their heads and even then cannot grow a chin beard. Their ability to effectively pacify and direct wildlife is a source of scholarly division, theories point to body language, innate understanding or pheremonal secretions.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

Peckdel senses are famously sharp, afforded by their large, rounded ears, keen animal-like eyes and short facial whiskers. It is said that a Peckdel's nose, when practised, can smell a man's emotions.
