Anatomy

Heirdun command immense physical strength - averaging height slightly below the Gargen and tending towards exceptional muscle mass, they are an intimidating presence. Their physiology is well-adapted to their alpine climate, with high-volume blood vessels and insulative wool-hair that grows to roughly average proportions across the body - this, however, makes them struggle in warmer environments.
Almost all Heirdun sport rounded ovine horns, though some rare exceptions have sharp extending horns or no horns at all. Children will see these horns begin to develop in early adolescence. Heirdun horn is tough, enough to deflect a low-calibre round and deadly when used as a weapon.
