Eladrin
Creatures of magic with strong ties to nature, Eladrin live in cities in the twilight realm of Arcadia. Their cities lie close enough to the The Primelands that they sometimes cross over, appearing briefly in mountain valleys or deep forest glades before fading back into Arcadia. Eladrin are often seen as the more noble and mysterious ancestors to Elves.
Basic Information
Anatomy
Eladrin are of Human height. They are slim, and even the strongest simply look athletic rather than musclebound. They have the same range of complexions as humans, though they are more often fair than dark. Their straight, fine hair is often white, silver, or pale gold, and they wear it long and loose. Their ears are long and pointed, and their eyes are pearly and opalescent orbs of vibrant blue, violet, or green, lacking pupils. Eladrin can’t grow facial hair and have little body hair.

Eladrin reproduce through sexual intercourse and a pregnancy period of 9 months.
Growth Rate & Stages
Eladrin children grow much as human children do, but their aging process slows to a crawl when they reach maturity. They enjoy youth and health for most of their lives and don’t begin to feel the effects of age until the middle of their third century.
Ecology and Habitats
Eladrin, similar to their Elven descendants, prefer areas of nature. Often thick forests, and cloudy mountains, they like to live in areas with a connection to Acadia. "The greatest Eladrin cities sit on the horizon."
Dietary Needs and Habits
Eladrin are omnivores, though their connection to nature means that many Eladrin cultures promote giving back to the land anything that was taken form it. This often means grown crops, fruits, and vegetable, though Eladrin hunting parties are still extremely deadly to run into.
Biological Cycle
Most live for over 300 years, and even at the end they suffer few of the infirmities of old age.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities
Eladrin's eyes are more light sensitive than a Humans, allowing them to even see by the moon's light alone. Their natural connection to Arcadia also allows them to ward off mental attacks slightly easier than most, and charm spells are easily shrugged off.

Naming Traditions
Eladrin names tend to reflect the naming conventions of the @Cosmic Fey, though they are often shorter. They tend to reflect natural phenomenon. Some common Eladrin names are Sunrise, Rainbow, Dewdrop, Mistfall, Starlight, or Moonset. Eladrin names don't have gendered preferences. Eladrin are born without last names, having to earn them from an elder of their clan.
Major Language Groups and Dialects
Most Eladrin speak Elven, Sylvan, and Common fluently, while many political Eladrin also speak Gnomish, and occasionally Orcish or Giant.
History
Many Eladrin were aware of the Primelands, previous to the creation of the Living Gate, though only their warriors and politicians had an interest in the plane. After the Planar Seperation, the Arcadian forces that had been attacking the Primelands, were now set back on Arcadia. The Eladrin armies were forced to retreat to their enclaves to protect them from incoming forces. Over then next several thousand years, Eladrin, Elven, and Gnomish, leaders created a council to deal with the various monstrous threats. Each species provided three of their own delegates to The Consolidate to determine what resources need to be used for the war effort. Hordes of Orcs, Cyclopes, Fomorians, and Ogres invaded the Consolidate's lands, with little push back from the united forces. Due to the actions of The Clasp and The Shackled on the Primelands, the planar pathways opened once again and the monstrous forces went back to attacking the Primelands. Eladrin, Elves, and Gnomes couldn't forgive the thousands of years of conflict and seek aide from any being from the planes to assist them in wiping out the Hordes.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
Eladrin have an innate liking to Elves and Gnomes due to their history while locked in Arcadia and a distrust of Orcs, Cyclopes, Fomorians, and Ogres. Eladrin often look down on Humans and Dwarves as stupid, though they occasionally strike on moments of genius no Eladrin could hope to achieve.
