Borderwalker
Borderwalkers — commonly referred to as walkers — are essentially quintessence-infused humans, although they are very far removed from them.
Walkers are compatible with all other races. There are no downsides or dangerous elements to one being mixed with other ones.
It is said that walkers are like the “base” of most other races, since they technically are one with the Nether. (There are exceptions, like a simple ghoul would not have the abilities that a walker has at all.)
Obviously, walker-humans don’t exist, nor a human who’s half-walker.
Basic Information
Anatomy
There are no physical features that separates a walker and a human.
Genetics and Reproduction
They can only be born; these genes are so dominant, that a child of only humans or other races can still have a borderwalker, as long as any not too distant relative was one themselves.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
They are immortal, and possess varying amounts of power and types of abilities, all depending on the person and their individual closeness to the Nether. Using said powers is what causes immortality, slowing aging (speed depending on how often and how much is used) until it stops altogether and the person, upon “dying”, always appears in the Nether for an indefinite time.
Origin/Ancestry
Celestials
Conservation Status
In the United North, it is illegal to harm or kill any quintessence beings just because of what they are, and borderwalkers are no exception.
