The Betrayl of Solomon

On the returning path from the war, Solomon aided many on his journey home, taking a several month travel into nearly three years. Bit by bit, his soldiers moved on ahead of him, wishing him the best of luck, neither knowing what would come to pass. On the final stretch back to the church of Heironeous, a home he had not seen in over a decade, a cloaked figure blocked his path on the road. He excused himself, but the figure invited him to speak with for a moment. The two sat and spoke for hours, the sun falling, and the moon rising behind them. What they discussed is unknown, but we do know what happened next. Solomon burst through the doors of the Church of Heironeous, skin a dark grey and his shimmering armor a chilled black. He assembled his fellow followers of Heironeous and proclaimed their god was false. He spoke of the horrors he’d witnessed in the war, referencing several events his followers had witnessed first hand. Solomon argued that a god of Honor and chivalry would not have allowed such things to come to pass, but thankfully he had discovered a new lord for them to follow. One who does not waste his time on empty tennant, but hard proof of power. When his elders attempted to stop him, Solomon impaled the very man who had once raised him, apologizing as he ran him through. A battle broke out, initially with many against Solomon, but his new found abilities quickly turned the tide, and with it many paladins opinion of their place in the world. Inevitably, the Church was burned to the ground, and rumor has it that Solomon is making his way North for some unknown purpose.
