Just like any other day, it all started with a sunrise. The bright ball of light and heat rose into the sky, through the clouds, and into the air. It was morning, and it was time to wake up. An alarm sounded aboard the giant airship; the noise echoing into its hallways and rooms.
Inside the master bedroom, one of the occupants of the bed stirred and opened their eyes. The glistening cerulean eyes looked around, once to the left, once to the right. The fox sat up and stretched their arms. The thin and fuzzy limbs went high into the air and flopped down again. She looked to her left and smiled. Her boyfriend, a robotic wolf named Timber, remained asleep. On the other side of Timber's sleeping robotic body, another girl, a jackal named Eliza, slept soundly.
The three of them were in a polyamorous relationship; an agreement that had been reached one month prior. The female fox, Mylena, ran her fingers through Timber's short hair and chuckled when his head moved to the side. Carefully, she slipped away from under the heavy blanket and stood up. Sunlight streamed into the room and laid itself onto her body. Its warmth sank through her fur and onto her skin.
"Today's gonna be a good day, I can just feel it!"

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Mylena is a rather short and lanky fox. She has large conical ears, a short snout, a small black nose, and most notable of all, two large fluffy tails.
Mylena's hands have five digits on them, with small paw pads on the tips of each finger and on her palm. Her footpaws are similar in shape to that of a human's, but a bit longer. They have long claws and paw pads.

Body Features

Mylena is short and lanky. She has fluffy fur all over her body, small breasts, and two tails. She is quite humanoid in appearance.

Facial Features

Mylena's face is dominated by her two large eyes. They are shaped like ovals. Her eyelashes are long and thick. Her irises are colored cerulean. Underneath her eyes is her white fur-covered muzzle. It protrudes from her head at a length of three inches. On its end is her nose.

Identifying Characteristics

Mylena is known for her rare mutation of having two tails. These flutter behind her like giant fluffy natural pillows. Sometimes, she, her boyfriend, and her girlfriend use the tails as exactly that. Pillows for movie night. She doesn't like them being touched without permission first.
Much to her embarrassment, Mylena's breasts are rather small. She is very self-conscious about it and will get angry if the topic is brought up. Despite this, however, her significant others do not mind at all, and they love her for who she is, rather than for her body.

Special abilities

Having lived the life of a young and active treasure hunter, Mylena has built up quite the leg strength. Her years of crouching under tight spaces and climbing rock faces have given her immense lower body strength. One swift kick from her and the target's outta commission! Mylena is also studying magic, using old books found inside Neo Metal Sonic's old base of operations.

Personal history

Mylena Prower is a 25-year-old female red fox. She is a treasure hunter by trade, being assigned to dangerous locations all over the region to retrieve precious metals and other materials. Mylena is 5 feet and 5 inches tall. She has two large tails, each one covered in soft fluffy fur, making them feel like naturally grown pillows!
Mylena had a very difficult life for most of her existence. She was abused by her parents and she ran away from home at the age of eleven. After this, she came across a small team of looters disguised as geologists. These looters took young Mylena under their wings and taught her the art of tracking down and snagging precious items.
During her time with the looters, one of them, an older fox named Ruby, took a special liking to Mylena. She taught the young fox how to defend herself and how to fight in the case of her capture. So for three years, Mylena trained and lived with the looters, learning the tips and tricks of her trade. Mylena eventually became very good at this job. She used her hyper-sensitive nose to pinpoint the scent of her target and following it right to her destination. She finally had a purpose in life.
But then, on a supposedly routine job, the mine they'd infiltrated started to collapse, and the small team had to make a break for it without any of the loot they'd come for. Unfortunately, Mylena's mentor Ruby made a grave mistake. She delayed herself to quickly snatch a small chunk of gold sticking out of a wall. These few seconds of greed cost her her life. A large rock came down from the ceiling and pinned her to the floor. It broke her ribs, shattered her spine, and crushed her legs. She would not survive this. So, out of pure agony and desperation, Ruby instructed the 14-year-old Mylena to end her suffering. The terrified little fox grabbed Ruby's pistol, and with tears pouring down her face, sent a bullet into Ruby's skull.
Her quivering body stopped moving forever. After that day, Mylena decided to take her life in another direction. So with a heavy heart, she said goodbye to her friends in the looter team and went off on her own. Mylena was plagued with depression and a total loss of motivation. She hiked from city to city, trying to find her way. But nothing worked out for her. So she decided to try out her recently mastered treasure hunting skills to try and make a little money. But she had little luck. Maybe an ancient golden ring or two, but those were worth nothing in this day and age. She was broke, homeless, and alone.
Mylena wandered around the region for nine whole years, steadily getting used to the loner lifestyle. She had put massive walls around herself. Walls that were impenetrable by even the nicest of people. Her depression turned her into a shell of what she used to be, and she was about ready to give up. So on one cold autumn day, she packed up what little she had and headed into the forest. Her mind was made up. This would be her final resting place. Mylena's suicide was planned meticulously, and today was the day.
She found a neat-looking tree and set to work, making the procedure as clean as possible. Just then, her long-unused treasure hunter senses were set off. Could it be a gem? A piece of gold? An old watch, perhaps? Whatever it was, it caught her attention. Mylena tracked the item down and was surprised to see a yellow light shining from a pile of leaves. She dug through it and there it was. A six-sided gem, glowing bright yellow and warm in her gloved hands.
This could be what she needed! So she rushed back to her camp and undid all the ropes on the tree. Her life may or may not have just turned upside down, and for the better. Just when she felt like she could celebrate, a fast-moving object swept by and knocked her right on her backside. It was some sort of robot. Egg-shaped, colored mostly red. All it did was a gesture to the yellow stone that Mylena had just found. But she wouldn't dare let this thing go. This was her way to a better life, and nobody would take it from her! So she ran away from the robot and came across an abandoned town.
She hid in a bush beside an old house, making sure to stay quiet. After ten minutes passed, all was clear. She wasn't being pursued anymore. But then, she heard voices emanating from the abandoned town's square. She poked her head out from the side of the building to inspect the situation. A group of people slowly walked down the empty street, guns in hand and conversing amongst each other.
A wolf, dressed in a smart-looking suit, pistol in hand. Another canine, probably a jackal, wearing armor and a large gun in his hand. A short yellow fox, dual-wielding two guns. And finally, a tall man wearing a helmet. His entire body seemed to be made of nothing but impenetrable armor. This intrigued her. But the egg-shaped robot returned. It hadn't given up the search and was closing in. Surprisingly, the group of newcomers took the robot head on in combat; each one of them launching a deadly assault on it. But it wasn't affected. Mylena was scared. She knew that she had what it was looking for. But she didn't want to let it go, no matter the cost.
The battle was a fierce one, zombie-like creatures came pouring out of the ground like insects from underneath a recently moved plank, but the group showed no signs of fear or doubt. The robot came back and tried to force the gem away from her, but was saved when the armoured figure came back, not missing any shots from his sniper rifle. That was even more intriguing because moving at that speed it should have been impossible to aim without mechanical help. But that's not a problem, because he had just extended a hand to help her up. She took it, feeling a mixture of curiosity, concern, and a little bit of fear and excitement. Maybe this was where her life starts turning around? They fought off the robot and the zombies and decided to bring her along back to their ship, the Flying Battery.
She had some reservations, after what happened to the last time a group had taken her in, but those doubts were quickly dashed when they welcomed her in with open arms, the armoured one especially. His name was Timber, a wolf who was mechanized at some point, but still had more humanity (mobianity?) in him than some other people in the world. She took a liking to him, and he seemed to take a liking to her as well, which was confirmed when they ran into each other in one of the hallways. At first, it was meant to be him checking in to make sure she was all right but quickly shifted into both divulging their life stories to each other. A slight feeling made itself known in the back of her mind, that maybe this wolf could be something she was missing.

Education

Mylena was professionally educated up to the 6th grade. After she ran away from her abusive parents and was taken in by the other treasure hunters, she mostly went uneducated. During this time, however, she was rudimentarily taught some information by different members of the team. She especially loved the lessons taught by group member Scout, a buff husky, because he gave her candy and other snacks at the end of the lesson.
After she left the hunters, Mylena went off on her own and found ways to educate herself while she went. Visiting libraries and bookstores were her favorite ways to go about it.

Employment

Since the age of thirteen, Mylena has been a treasure hunter. During her time with the other Hunters, she traded in her finds for hefty sums of money. For those few years, she used that money to buy her own food and clothes.
But when she started going off on her own, she technically wasn't employed. She was a freelancer; finding stuff and selling it at the buyer's price. This method was not as successful. She could barely scrape together enough money to buy food, so she oftentimes starved for a week straight.
After she met with the President's behind-the-scenes ragtag world savers, she became their resident mage; finding spellbooks inside Neo Metal Sonic's abandoned base and teaching herself magic.

Accomplishments & Achievements

Mylena's biggest personal achievement took place about three weeks after she met her current family. The group had been struggling with defeating their latest threat; a hostile robot called Heavy King. With the help of the Guardian Spirit of Chaos and her good friend Nick, she harnessed Chaos energy and transformed into a Super state. The two of them beat on the Heavy King relentlessly, handing the win off to another member of the group, a robot girl named Skye.

Failures & Embarrassments

Mylena's worst failure was her not being able to save her mentor and former best friend from dying in the collapsing mine. Mylena remains guilty to this day and believes it should have been her.

Mental Trauma

Mylena has an incredible amount of trauma from her abuse as a child and her years of homelessness. During her time of being in the streets, she was assaulted (physically and sexually), she fell ill more than once, and she had her belongings robbed as well.

Intellectual Characteristics

After the age of eleven, Mylena never attended school. She was educated by her workmates to the best of their ability. After these few years of companionship, she began to teach herself using books from the library. Mylena's vocabulary isn't very wide, so if she doesn't know the proper word for a situation, she'll substitute it with "or whatever..."

Mylena lives by the mantra that "every day is different from the last, so don't dwell on the past too much." She likes this particular ideology because it assures her to not worry too much about what happened in the past, as it has little effect on the now.
Mylena's a rather morally sound character, although some things she says and does are questionable.

Mylena's motivation is to keep those she loves around her for as long as possible and never lose them for as long as she lives. She was never the bravest or strongest, but if the safety of her few loved ones depended on it, she'd face off against the strongest man in the world or lift a tank.

Having grown up perfecting this skill, Mylena is an expert at sensing the location of valuable items and precious gems and minerals. This sense is felt in her lower abdomen, usually her stomach area.
When she's around powerful energy signatures, it frequently results in bad headaches, an upset stomach, and in bad cases, vertigo.
Mylena is bad with any weapon beyond the likes of a baseball bat. She has bad coordination, especially with heavy weapons like guns and swords.

Mylena is a movie buff. Her favorite movies include Jaws, Jurassic Park 1 and 2, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, and Titanic. Her favorite TV show is the anime Dragon Ball Z.
She doesn't like feeling useless. Luckily for her, being with a team of underground world saviors lets her be of some use nearly 24/7.

Mylena has almost no boundaries, which means she has little objection to most subjects of conversation. This makes her a very good conversationalist.
She has a big caring heart that is open to all in need. She's pretty much the mom-friend of the group.

Vices & Personality flaws

A big flaw of Mylena's is her lack of tact in conversation. She frequently makes sex jokes and innuendoes at the expense of her own credibility and the general feel-good atmosphere of the conversation. This is not to say that some people don't find it interesting, even funny. Her boyfriend Timber, for example, finds a certain charm in it. He finds her attempts to seem, quote, "sexually attractive" hilarious.

One of Mylena's cute quirks is that she rolls her eyes and huffs when in awkward situations. It's very endearing.

Mylena drums her fingers one after the other on the side of her arm when she does the arm fold and tends to hum quietly.

Mylena likes watching movies, cuddling with her boyfriend or girlfriend, and finding strange treasures.
She also really likes practicing her magical incantations, often with the help of some of her friends. Her favorite spell is the one that lifts objects into the air and causes them to burst like fireworks. She dubs the spell "Dirty Fireworks."
As of late, she has grown more and more confident with her ability to learn and demonstrate more complex incantations, and she hopes to one day be able to fight on her own, using her own strength, her own wits, and her own energy. For now though, let's stick to the basics, shall we?

Mylena has an Australian accent, but it has long since been worn down by other people's accents making their way into her subconscious. She uses slang like "yo" and "y'all" and shortened words commonly. She has a light "Oho!" chuckle. Her favorite way of getting a person's attention is by yelling "Oi!" at them.
