Toushek

(too'-shek) , is presumed to be a Davrin Elf and independent merchant in the Red Desert during an era long past.

This speculation comes from shared experiences in Reverie as some characters seem to relive distant or mystical memories. The characters thus far include Sirana and Auslan. Through their visions, Toushek has clear connections to both Captain Xala JaProhn and the Sorcerer-General Cris-ri-phon, who presently goes by the name Brom Troshin. These two figures played significant part of whatever events precipitated the Valsharess fleeing with her people from The Red Desert to The Deepearth.

Background

Spoiler Books 4-6

Toushek presents himself as an older, knowledgeable, far-traveling Davrin merchant traversing the Red Desert, although whether this was a fact from actual past events or are mystical visions or symbols, it is difficult to tell. He speaks directly to the dreamer, displaying wares he hopes will entice them or asking abstract or obscure questions which hint at greater knowledge about the dreamer than they are aware of in the same space and time.
