Sidarch
Sidarch is the Lord of the Archangels. His attribute is Rulership or Leadership. It is said that he is the oldest of the Celestials, the first created by the Nameless Gods. It is also said that the other Archangels freely elected him their ruler. Some add that the Archfiends left Heaven in a rejection of this choice, because they were all too proud to recognize any ruler at all; but this is not a universally accepted tale. The one thing everyone agrees on is that Sidarch is the leader of Heaven and that all angels give him their allegiance. He sets the model for all mortal leaders, from shop owners to ship captains to kings. It is only with his blessing that leaders have the right to their authority.

Sidarch is most commonly depicted as a king with a scepter, although in lands that reject monarchy he is depicted with whatever regalia would be appropriate for that land's ruler. Sidarch also is strongly associated with the sun, which is said to be under his sole dominion as the ruler of Heaven. Most art of him features a sun either on his armor or behind his head, as a unique form of halo. He is also always shown as an older man.
