Laar

Laar is the Archangel of Trees, although his official virtue is Balance. He is really a guardian of all forms of nature, but trees are especially sacred to him personally. He tends the trees in Heaven. In Laar's grove, he keeps a perfect exemplar of every single type of tree that exists, and many unique, magic trees that exist nowhere else. Through his trees, he keeps watch on the whole world, and keeps the forces of nature in harmony.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Laar is commonly depicted as an old man with leaves for hair. In modern depictions he is usually shown as an elf. Another major symbol of Laar is the scarlet tree, a tree with scarlet red bark as well as leaves. Although Laar is not held to actually look like a tree, the scarlet tree is a far more common representation of Laar than the man-with-leaves depiction is.
