Humanity

Humanity is a generic term encompassing all humanoid, intelligent, mortal, civilized races that inhabit Myrion. It is not limited merely to humans.
The term does have a political dimension because of the "civilized" qualifier. It excludes trolls, ogres, giants and the like. Depending on the context, it may include or exclude xenophobic races like kobolds and gnolls. It includes goblins, although goblins themselves have mixed feelings about including themselves in the "humanity" label. Opinions differ on whether it should include merfolk.
