Exene

Exene is the Archangel of Wisdom. She is the wisest of all the Archangels, and yet she spends almost all of her time devoted to further reading and learning. All books are sacred to her, and it is said that a copy of every book that exists can be found in Heaven's mystical library, of which she is the librarian. She is always at hand to help a mortal who truly wants to expand their knowledge, no matter the subject -- provided that the seeker truly wishes to do the work of learning. Exene promises no easy answers.

Divine Symbols & Sigils

Exene is always depicted as a woman with unkempt hair, surrounded by books or scrolls. In paintings where she is shown in an action scene, she is shown with books orbiting her head like a halo. Beyond this, Exene is usually drawn either as a young woman with spectacles, or an old woman with a quill pen in her hand - depending on whether the artist wants to emphasize her as the patron of learners or the patron of teachers.
