Minsua

Minsua is a fantastic world mostly dominated by the warlord king, Ajax Doringot. Saint Ajax is known as the Indomitable Overlord, and he has taken great lengths to ensure that he lives forever, no one knows how, some believe that he made a pact with Asmodeus, others say he is now a god, yet others say that he isn't truly immortal, he is just a human who has a large stash of potions of immortality. Though much of the world is dominated by the Indomitable Overlord, a few countries are yet to be conquered, such as the nations Jarlotha, Grothavan, and Kirimith. These nations are still at war with the main empire, Bentuana, and the battles are yet to see an end.   There are 5 main continents of Minsua, first, Aclor, the main continent, where the capitol of Bentuana, Breydal, is located. Breydal is a floating city on Mount Underspire where the Indomitable Overlord lives with his many mages and soldiers, and he rules from his 20 foot tall throne that is made completely out of gold covered bones. Aclor is primarily inhabited by humans, though there are large populations of elves, dwarves, halflings, and smaller populations of gnomes, orcs, lizardfolk, and other lesser known races. The second continent is Nushaolor, it is also dominated by Bentuana, but since they aren't very close to each other, the laws aren't as prevalent as they are on Aclor, but they still have heavy taxes and strict laws. Nushaolor is still mostly inhabited by the main humanoid races, but there is a small country that is mostly inhabited by Tieflings, named Hell's Hold. The third continent is Aprya. Aprya is not completely dominated by Bentuana. There are some populations of tabaxi that have started to rebel, and they have become allies with a group of tritons. They specialize in guerrilla warfare tactics, sneaking and ambushing armies, sinking Bentuan ships, so on. The fourth continent is Snauca. Snauca isn't as much a continent as a very large island surrounded by many smaller, but still large, islands that is the world's trading center. Most of Snauca is now inhabited because of Bentuan ships that came to conquer this chain of islands, and they discovered that it was a great place to start several trade centers. Snauca is mostly dominated by Bentuana, but there are so many smaller islands that it is near impossible for them to all be conquered. The last inhabitable continent is Uprax, a smaller continent with many different races that live there, but dragonborn are very common there, this is their homeland. The other main races live here, and they are not dominated by Bentuana. There is a resistance group here called the "Knights of Kirimith", and they are a mixture of elves, humans, dragonborn, and dwarves that rule Uprax and are planning on overthrowing the Indomitable Overlord.   Minsua is a diverse place, there are many different types of races, people and traditions, and they use these traditions to differentiate between each other. There are places where they forbid arcane magic, places where they encourage all magic to the point that dueling with blades is practically alien to them. There are cities that are filled with gnomes protected by mechanical creatures, and there are places filled with your everyday average people that just want to live life the way that they want to.
