Ardos Concordant
The Ardos Concordant was a peace treaty between the Purge Society and the Diamond Empire. It would have the Purge Society no longer launch attacks against the Diamond Empire and vice versa, but in return the Diamond Empire would have to give up twenty-thousand blocks of land to the Purge Society along with seventy-thousand emeralds.

To put an official end to the Evoker Conflict and end the war between the Purge Society and the Diamond Empire.

Historical Details
Background
The Ardos Concordant was created as a result of an eleven-year war against the Purge Society known as the Evoker Conflict. The Diamond Empire ended up facing a massive revolution to overthrow the king, and one of the leaders of the revolution was made the new King. Having watched from the sidelines during the revolution, the Purge Society came forward with an offered treaty known as the Ardos Concordant to end the war between them and the Diamond Empire. Believing that the Diamond Empire would not be able to handle the continued war against the illagers, King Harris accepted the treaty and signed it.
Public Reaction
The people of the Diamond Empire would be furious with the signing of the Ardos Concordant and would begin a second revolution to overthrow King Harris, although it would not be successful. The Diamond Empire would end up losing a lot of fear and respect from the different nations of the Overworld. On the other hand, it boosted the illagers' morale and furthered their belief that they were superior to the strongest of their enemies.
Legacy
The Signing of the Ardos Concordant would be remembered as an embarrassment for the Diamond Empire, having prided themselves on their military might and being humbled by the Purge Society. It would however result in decades of peace between the Purge Society and the Diamond Empire.
Term
The Ardos Concordant kept the Purge Society from making attempts to undermine the Diamond Empire until King Harris's death in Year 1298, twenty-eight years after it was initially signed.
Seventy-thousand emeralds!?!? I've played Minecraft for years, and I think I've managed to amass close to 3000 emeralds.
The Diamond Empire was bled pretty dry from the Ardos Concordant and it made them look like chumps compared to the Purge Society.
Paying out to terrorists seems to be a common theme throughout human history--- ask the ancient Hebrews. They kissed the Babylonian empire's a$$ but were still exiled from their homeland. So why negotiate when the bastards likely have their fingers crossed behind their backs when signing the peace treaty? Pandering to enemies has never resulted in total peace but a delay of the inevitable take-over.
And that's ultimately what came to pass in the Purge War, which happens 62 years after the Ardos Concordant was signed. You ended up having the Purge Society launching a massively successful campaign to enslave the rest of humanity and the Diamond Kingdom was the first nation to fall to the illagers.
