The Milky Way Galaxy is a spiral galaxy that is estimated to have from 100 billion to 400 billion stars. The estimate for planets that, just like earth, are capable of sustaining life is around 1 million.   Having approximately 13 billion years, the Milky Way is considered to be a relatively young galaxy and large galaxy for the number of celestial bodies that exist within it.   As stated above, the galaxy has at least 100 billion to 400 billion stars. Just a few of those are supergiants, like Rigel and Betelgeuse while stars like the Sun are a little more common. However, the most prominent kind of celestial body within the galaxy are the Red Dwarfs. The galaxy's total mass can be deduced from the rotation speed around its center ou through observational analysis. The is a lot of debate over the calculation of the galaxy's mass, but it is known that all of the visible material equals a quantity around the order of 1011 solar masses, from wich more than 90% corresponds to stars and the rest are gas and dust that, along with hydrogen and a quarter of Helius, while a small fraction (About 2%) is formed of "metals".   Being the home of around 1 million planets capable of sustaining life, Milky Way has an incredible amount of populated planets, having thousands of alien species. The traits, behavior and technological prowess of these species all differ from one another, so the galaxy also has a fair share of conflict while these different species struggle to live together in this same vast and impressive galaxy.
