Miitopia

Miitopia is a game made by Nintendo. It's essentially a light RPG with Miis as the characters, which can lead to some unusual and hilarious situations. For example, you could have the King be Tony Stark, or make the Princess into Hank Hill. This also extends to the player's party: You could have a party filled with your real-life friends and family, fictional characters, or any mixture of the two! In this version, I am going to have most of the characters be fictional, either of my own design, or from my childhood. The story also won't be a carbon copy of the original game, instead having its own unique twists.   A shadow is spreading across Miitopia. The powerful sorcerer known as Zing-Zing-Zingbah has been corrupted by a terrible curse, transforming him into the Dark Lord. Using his powers, he is traveling Miitopia and stealing the faces of those unfortunate enough to encounter him. He then gives the contraband complexions to monsters, using the faces as a means to control them. As Zing-Zing-Zingbah prepares his first public attack, a lonely lemurkin by the name of Merf stumbles upon a horrific scene: A villager is being harried by a swarm of butterflies with human eyes on their wings! He helps the villager escape the onslaught, and is led to the small town of Greenhorn... Just in time for the Dark Lord's attack. Several villagers' faces are lifted right off of their heads like stickers, and the fiend flies off with them, cackling all the way. The son of the villager that Merf had previously helped was among those who were now faceless. The villager implores Merf to return her son's face, offering a family heirloom as a good luck charm. He accepts the job, despite lacking any weaponry or experience, and ventures to the outskirts of town to find the boy's face. And so begins the journey of Vagabond Merf...
