Session 8 Report
General Summary
Tarsakh 3rd, 1492
The party learned that they were now slaves, under the control of the vile Master Carvedous. Collars were placed on them with alien technology that inhibited them from committing acts of violence without the approval of Carvedous. The Rat Pack did not take it well, but there was nothing that they could do about it… yet.
Tarsakh 6th, 1492
The Rat Pack arrived on the planet known as Nothotis. Master Carvedous led them to their new dwelling in a subterranean cavern beneath a massive colosseum. It was down here that they found Ratchet, a small blue alien that spoke to Spud. He helped them get settled in and mentioned Radicus Tootha Maximus, a fellow gladiator that sought revolution.
Believing that Maximus was a potential ally, the party went to find him. He was a human that was surprised to hear that they spoke the common tongue. Radicus told them that he came from a place called Neverwinter, and the party claimed to be from the same world. When asked about his plots to revolt against the slavers, he admitted that there was nothing he could do as long as they had the control collars on. After some more conversation, he told the Rat Pack that they needed to go to be placed in their groups.
Thus begun a day-long tournament where they were forced to fight other slaves and even each other. In the process, Geasle ate Ratchet alive, shocking many of the local slaves and angering quite a few of them.
Tarsakh 7th, 1492
The first match began, pitting two teams in a battle to the death against each other. Kouvian and Geasle stood on one side of the field against their new ally, Spud. As blood muddied the sand as the one-sided battle killed four gladiators and left Spud nearly dead. He barely survived the ordeal while Geasle and Kouvian stood victorious with their group.
