The Namzaqu
Feng was told by his master in God's Gate that the huge stone door set into the floor of the valley will someday need to be opened. To do this requires a magical key called the Namzaqu. On the day the first gargantuan arrived, Feng's master died, but before he did he told Feng that he believed now was the time for the Namzaqu to be found. As the new guardian of God's Gate, it was Feng's duty to seek out the key...
Researching in the archives of the Universal Church in Volscia Mera, Feng discovered an old book in which some scholar tried to recreate the lost language of the Fallen Kingdom of Urcia. Flipping through the dictionary, he was surprised to find the word "namzaqu." Rather than being a proper name, it's a simple word. It means "key." Armed with this knowledge Feng checked the grammar chapters. The word namzaqu could be either singular or plural... so there might be just one key, or there could be many.
Unrevealed Clues
- there are four namzaqu
- there are four gates, one for each key
- each gate is watched over by a different magical race
- each key has been hidden in a different way
- the earth namzaqu was broken into three parts spread around the world
- the water namzaqu remained with the tritons who guard the gate
- the fire namzaqu is hidden deep in the heart of a volcano
- the air namzaqu was sent to the elemental plane of air (?does this make sense with the planar god war?)
