The protector of mankind

General

Craestorism depicts Craesto Welk as a stern-looking and omniscient Goddess that is blessed with great beauty. She is usually adorned in a formal, clear-cut dress in black and white.

The statues

Statues of Craesto Welk can be found on every Level. Most of them are built using synthetic marble in the standard color scheme and stand about ten meters tall.
Interestingly, Monster Machines avoid these statues and unless damage is caused by the intent or accident of man, then they will stand for all eternity.

The Goddess of Protection

It is said that Craesto Welk created the megastructure mankind now lives within, with the sole purpose of protecting them from an incomprehensible threat from beyond the Veil of Twilight. She only succeeded partially, as uncountable lives were lost as the threat destroyed their homeworld.
