A ten-year-long war, initiated by the crumbling Ekhmeni Empire in a last-bid attempt to retake its fracturing territories and restore its honor and power. Technically considered the Second Ekhmeni-Torithian war, but is popularly known as the “Firebird War” because of Ekhmenet’s “secret weapon,” a Mythborn known to the public as “the Firebird” during the latter part of the war.
A major turning point in The Firebird War that marked the point at which the Ekhmeni Empire seriously started to lose the war. Their own “secret weapon,” the Firebird, reportedly turned against them, igniting many of their own troops, creating the fields now known as the Cinder Slopes.
