Zemla Orka Island

Zemla Orka, formerly known as Volgorkalia is the mainland of the Orcish Empire.
It spans a vast island at the west of Mesonomornia. Its terrain is diverse, and the land is fertile.
The people who live on the island are Orcs, Goblinoids and GIthyanki people. Alongside them, a slave society of Humans, Wood Elves, and some contract working Halflings are employed by the empire.
Yuanti people and Tieflings will occasionally be seen walking the island and settlements.
At the coast of Zemla Orka is a Drow Brotherhood settlement. The settlement maintains neutral relations with the Orcish Empire, and are not permitted to enter the inner cities districts.

Demographics

Of the citizens of The Orcish Empire, the Orkalians, are mostly Orcs and Goblinoids. A minority group of Gith people also live in the land of Zemla Orka.
The ruling classes are exclusively Orcs, with honorary positions given to some Hobgoblins and Gith people, through are rare. The upper classes also consist mostly of Orcs, and the middle classes consist of the other citizens.
Subjects of the Empire, Kreposts, can also be of Goblin or Gith origin, but some people of the other races such as Drow, Tiefling and Halflings can apply to be Kreposts.
A slave society exists on the island and the empire. It consists of Humans and Wood Elves. Criminals and enemies of state are also punished with slavery, but most serve temporarily, and rarely Orkalian citizens face life punishment of slavery.
