Void Sweeper
This strange creature resembles a sludge of gelatine in dark translucent tones. They are impossible to see in the dark even with a source of light. Those who are void touched are able to see a beating black heart in the centre of it used for seeking its food and keeping it alive.
They roam the hallways of Chinderin ruins, adepting to the environments Void leakages.
It comes from the parent species of Slime Sweepers known for the dustless paths they leave in ruins and the corpses that float inside them as they digest the nutrients. However this one has evolved out of consuming living matter into consuming leakages from the void and arcane enchantments.
It was discovered by Zenia Botem during her voyage into the Pearl ruin. With much of its history remainint unknown, such as how every ruins sweeper evolved to be exactly the same even through they were seperated a great distance apart. Or how they even got there in the first place.
Basic Information
Anatomy
It contains no skeletal structure, with it being made purely out of a gelatinous muscle that contracts to allow movement.
Genetics and Reproduction
They only reproduce asexually upon reaching maturity then splitting in multiple smaller forms.

It grows depending on the amount of Void it has consumed causing it to grow slowly.
Ecology and Habitats
It flourishes in the Chinderin ruins for its abundance of void pockets and seclusion from the outside world.
Dietary Needs and Habits
It consumes Void spots or removes arcane enchantments from items to generate more of its gelatinous muscle.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
It can't hear or see relying purely on sensing void. This sensoring works by its heart, which isn't visible to those who aren't void touched. Magic is a result from void making their hunger of void being mistaken for magic.
Often resulting into the creature engulfing objects and creatures without realizing, but can sense void touched individuals and individuals under the effects of magic.
Conservation Status
They fall under the ancient history study protection license.
Killing them is heavily fined.
