Nijm

Nijm, the jinn of lightning, is worshipped in the faith of Nultenwas within the land of Sembar for his immense power and the protection he provides during times of war. When the armies of the desert go to battle, they call upon Nijm to unleash his lightning bolts upon their enemies, striking them down with swift and deadly force. The people believe that the thunderous roar in the sky that follows his lightening is his twin sister Sahabi's wrath and they offer prayers to reduce the anger, while some cults offer her sacrifices to appease her wrath. Nijm is also revered for his ability to bring light to the darkest of nights, guiding lost travellers and illuminating the way for those who seek his aid. Despite his fearsome reputation, Nijm is said to have a kind heart and is known to grant favours to those who are pure of heart and in need of his assistance.
