Originating inside of Tarakut Alquladu from whats referred to as the spawning ground. They were quick to traverse the great distance, but the leviathan was born a divine of destruction and wrath. This killed them separating these groups, but the few that remained went through change becoming the yig and Nereid. Although they are extinct on Hollow with only one lurking as undead in the ocean depths they are in abundance inside of Meskou.
The upper torse is a thing slime covered skin that pulls tightly on the ribs making their shape visible. An elongated tail used for swimming, slow traversal on land and with great skill they can lunge like a serpent on land. Their jaws mimic that of other races but open back at the joints allowing their sharp teeth to cover a greater area. Their teeth are that of an angler fish but in greater abundance and grow back once they fall out. Their skin tones range from pistachio to sewage green. Their eyes softly glow a colour that matches the water tone of the environment they grew up in.
The majority worship the Levithan and those who brought them from Hollow to Meskou. They are quite superstitious by seeing everything as a sign.
