Don Alteer's Arrival

Approximately in the year -1000 PS, a powerful Occultist travelled all across the desert of Sembar treating the sick, teaching those they met the gifts of the new Arcanum. This was a revolutionary change from the understood principles of magic and formed the three Vorin Lunir, translating from Donsel to "Council" of "Moon". Represented by the 3 moons of the sky, they practised diligently until the approximate year of -930 PS, when the outlaw of magic and the burning of witches began.
The great occultist went into hiding, with many counting down to the day they would return, this date is marked by year 0. Historians agree the current year 0 marker isn't correct for the return, but it was edited when the one responsible for the calendar approximated everyone's calendars.
Some say the Occultist is dead, with their body being rotted away long since, while others theorize they have found the elixir of life and are waiting till the time to share it with the world.
In the wake of the Occultist's disappearance, many claimed to be their prophesized successor, promising a new era of magic. But their dreams were short-lived, for they were hunted down and burned for practising forbidden arts. Some followers of the Vorin Lunir maintain that they have communicated with the elusive Occultist, but they remain in hiding, biding their time until the eternal day of magic begins.
