Culrina

The Culrina are a subspecies to the Seeker, a octopus creature that hunts down secrets and whispers, but this one has the inclusion of a blast resistant shield and large glowing infectious bubbles that explode once they leave the ocean. It contains ten tendrils with three of them being tentacles and the three being eye stalks. It also has a shell it can retreat into incase of danger, as well as having an infectious disease crating large yellow-orange sacks that hang from its body.

Ability

It has evolved to use this hindrance as a weapon, by latching onto creatures using their tentacles.  To help with grasping and holding on they come equipped with a Night Radiator(which looks like an eye, but is not cable of sight), it makes everything pitch black a certain radius around the eye. To combat the darkness hinderance it has two eyes that are for seeing only one eye contains cone cells and the other only rod cells, giving the one eye the ability to see through its darkness effects. To prevent the eyes going blinded each eye squints slightly to adjust to the correct light level. While grasping its prey it could attempt to strangle the prey or it can either wait till it reaches the surface where it retracks as many of its limbs inside its blast protective shell before the infection explodes. The tendrils can regrow back, but the eye stalks can't so its top priority is to protect the eyes. Its skin and muscle is fitted with a thin net-like membrane that allows the distribution of pain it receives from getting hit to carry some onto the bound prey.
