BB-22: Broken Tusk
General Summary
After taking a short rest, a few members of the party left the safe chamber to explore the crypt further, while others remained behind to recuperate.
We only travelled a short distance through the passages when we entered a room containing a tall, red orcish person with a missing tusk. Lost and seemingly confused, he was desperate to leave the maze of tunnels and rooms that we all found ourselves exploring. Upon learning his name, Keth, we eventually invited him to join us in our scouting of the dungeon in the hope of discovering a new ally.
In the next few rooms, Keth proved a worthy ally in battle, as we defeated another 6 pale elves. Further investigation led us to a room containing several strange pieces of armour, along with a small shrine holding scale-mail covered in arcane runes. Eskyr picked up the armour, recognising potential magical properties but unable to discern the nature of them.
Upon continuing through the dungeon, we finally made our way into a massive chamber, the sides of which are flanked by a row of skeletal statues holding magnificent weapons. At the head of the room, a skeleton in velvet robes holds an intricate sword (which Eskyr of course drools over). Our luck may have turned for the worse, however, because as we entered the hall, the slam of the portcullis gate crashed behind us. Several of us are now in the skeleton hall, trapped.
