BB-12: Tear's Destiny

General Summary

Having awoken from the last night's feast, we went shopping for mounts, carts, and rations. Prepared for a journey ahead, we ventured into the tunnel. On our two-day journey, we stumbled across a burning home; in front of which was a soft lilac Icuth-os with dirtied white hair. Her family was massacred by the Red Dynasty, searching for Tear herself. To protect her from the deadly hands of Red Dynasty assassins, we took her with us. We soon emerged into a massive open cavern, in the middle of which stands a giant statue of a nude human woman, holding up the "sky". Upon closer inspection, abyssal gas leaked from her stonework. Though we collected some of the gas, its unpredictable nature caused some trouble and subsequently disappeared. Before long, Eskyr scouted out a cavern containing a mysterious shrine and more gas, and soon the party entered the cavern with him. Kilo attempted to enter the gas and got dissolved. A door then appeared and we walked through it into a gathering of familiar faces, including the mysterious red-haired Nightmare. Teary reunions and closure ensued between the party and their connections, including Strate and Delia, Faedi and their ex-battle companion, Velly and her father, and others. Soon we had to move forward. We entered a door containing Eskyr's early memories and some of his later ones. After fighting maggot-filled doppelgangers of ourselves, we took a long rest. Kilo and Strate reconciled, and Strate's ODM is now working again. Kilo is now one arm short, as said limb is in Strate's possession. We were transported to the homeland of Strate, wherein Strate introduced us to the wonders of modern transportation and the grave of Delia Sticks. She rose from the dead, and one by one as our old companions fell, another cropped up to take their place. We left off having killed (again) Delia and a werewolf (Nathaenen). We are fighting Velly's maternal grandmother.
