Inside the town of Vectulheld famous for its colosseum, there is a thin boney man lurking in the sewers pulling people away into the murky waters.
You have been hired to unravel this mystery by Caien's Morningstar, a group of undead hunters from Trichad. Being a far-out trip and unproven of its deadliness your party has been sent hoping to bring back something worthy to bring you into a higher position in the guild.

Every player gets one of their weapons to start as silver because of their guild, which overcomes resistance from the undead.
Caien's Morningstar
Their goal is to remove the strife the undead cause against people. They often are called upon to clean nests and perform rites to prevent further fertilization.
Vectulheld
The settlement is known for its colosseum which started out as a fighting pit.
It is run by the baron Padme Looreur; she holds a tight grip on the place with her influence of the Scarlet Legion.
The Scarlet Legion is the Sovereigns military and is looking to help wherever it can but not go into the sewers.

The Shrine offers specific holy water, which makes undead creatures vulnerable to Silver.
Padme Looreur
She is an Ashen.
Her skin is a light crimson with wrinkles dotted around her eyes and cheeks. Her horns are dark brown filled with curls and twists. She wears noble attire of orange trimmed with what appears to be gold for how it glimmers in the sun.
Her goal is to obtain enough money to show her skill as a leader. This money is intended to be used against the Kyojin Kingdom once she can supply the Scarlet Legion with some deadly weaponry.
The Kyojin Kingdom is a group of Necromancers forming a kingdom who oppose the current ruling body.
Initializing
Sewer
Arrived in the town a few days ago the group who have been staying in the Wailing Barbarian. During this time they have been asking around and being given access to the sewers and a rough idea of where most of the crime scenes have taken place and where they believe the undead has made its nest.
Following it they will reach a nest used by this poor soul. The guy(Named Urhun) will have a rotting eyeball, but still be considered alive.
Not undead making him immune to undead effects, but he is in the process of transitioning. He has fought a deadly disease called "Erchalmagus" meaning rot eye.
He will beg for mercy addressing someone named the count (full name Darren Yelric Cuno) and saying how the count has promised him a cure.
If they pry they can figure out that it is vampirism that is being offered. If the group cures him he will relinquish his job and leave, else he will beg them to let him go if he needs it.
To him, he has just been collecting the corpses from the catacombs and colosseum, not understanding the grander scheme.
House
Urhun will direct the group to a house through the sewers, a reasonably wealthy house that hangs empty after the owner was murdered, which the Count Vampire deems as justice for the crimes committed by the owner.
They will find the Count chilling in a bath.
He will pitch the idea of how he intends to take over the city to formulate a secret blood collection system to feed vampires, but only targeting criminals.
They will get a choice to kill the vampire or listen and after to do as he commands. Asking the group to kill the baron Padme Looreur, a woman who has let thousands die for her own wealth.
There is a reward of eternal life through vampirism if the group agrees, and the chance to limit the harm vampires do to the cultures by feeding them.
They can kill or join.
Joining
He will direct them into the sewer, they can use the system if extra time makes a minor encounter happen else proceed. This encounter can provide them with healing potions.
They arrive at Baron's Manor, climbing out and they have to fight a few guards, a pretty easy fight. But it's about preventing them from alerting the rest.
Inside they will find the baron who will be ready to fight alongside some extra guards, the guards' job will be to heal the baron. The baron is a glass Canon.
Killing
Upon killing the vampire they will need to do a rite on the coffin, located in a separate room. It is guarded by an elemental golem.
