Merlin's Journals

this is the world and characters that will be used in my upcoming podcast. Avaline Howe wants Merlin's staff by the next multi lunar eclipse using her vast network of thieves and mercenaries because it can be used to summon a powerful being but is having difficulty getting it because it is hidden and protected by very powerful magic.   Theme: Lies and trickery never work.   The Staff of merlin is kept in his tomb which is hidden and guarded by magic making it extremely difficult to find. Avaline Howe wants the staff to perform a ritual to summon merlins farther. She must do it during the multi lunar eclipse because that is the time when the wall between the human and chaos realms are most weak.   Only people who believe that they are kind and free of evil in every fibre of their being can know the location of the staff, of course, they must first be seeking it. Next, they must undergo a trial to discover whether they are worthy of the staff, this makes it difficult for Avaline Howe to get the staff.
