Mercury City

What originally started as a backdrop for the first original characters I came up with, a superhero and his nemesis, soon spiraled into something so much more with the help of my fiance. While we've been slowly pegging away at the world at large, the focal point has always been Mercury City.   Mercury City, named for one of the great legacy heroes of the Pantheon, is the forefront of the first wave of the modern age of superheroes, due in part to the population boom in super powered individuals. But for all the super heroes in the world, there are just as many villains, if not more. Mutations, magic, and things in between have all convened to influence the balancing act of order and chaos in this world.
