Known Organizations in Meraset

• Expedition teams
  Groups organized by the city of Meras City to strike out into the wilderness for important work, primarily collecting phosphor seeds and delivering important resources to neighboring settlements. Exploring and updating the map data for Meraset is another important goal.
• The Couriers
  A service operated by four warforged and their assistants. they run between towns with letters and small packages. They are reliable and the service is free as they are paid by the towns, however the speed can vary (travel is dangerous and the warforged need to rest between towns). They also have a limited carrying capacity and can't accept deliveries larger than a small box. Heavy deliveries have to be sent with expedition teams.
  Most towns have a clockwork rookery, run by the couriers assistants. If the couriers are out and a letter ha to be sent, a clockwork bird can carry it to specific coordinates. The birds are fairly fast as they can take a direct route to the town instead of making a circuit, but they're limited in where they go (a bird is programmed to travel to the rookery, from there mail can be picked up). They are also not intelligent and have few defensive abilities
• The Black Cat: a noble thief, or possibly a group of them? They don't operate in public. Occasionally like to let those in leadership positions know they're still watching.
