Faith

Gods don't seem to have an active role in the world but many recognize a strong spiritual presence (ie, what gives clerics their power). Common religious themes are life and death, order and chaos. There are four recognized deities, with different groups and cultures sometimes giving them different names or images.
  • Kore - God of growth, harvest, agriculture; also associated with civilization/society due to connection with farming, as well as fertility. Typically seen as a nurturing presence. (Life/Order)
Common depictions/symbology - a humanoid holding plants or farm tools. Sometimes possessing cow or goat’s ears/horns/tail. Grain sprouting at their feet. Full moon.
Other names - Golden lady. God of the Hearth. The Mother.
  • Megidda - God of wisdom, prophecy, fate; sometimes associated with magic. Stern, quiet presence, accepted as the natural end of life. (Death/Order)
Common depictions - Dark cloaked figure carrying a lantern. An ancient woman. A crow. Humanoid with skeletal features. Waning crescent moon.
Other names - The Crone, Fate, Ferryman
  • Irracca - God of wilderness, survival, strength; also associated with the phosphor trees, Irracca can be seen as a creative force or freedom. Willful presence. (Life/Chaos)
Common depictions - Humanoid covered in plant growth, or with the head/features of a wild animal. Glow moth (insect known to crowd around phosphor trees). Waxing crescent moon.
Other names - Horned God. Green Lady.
  • Ayfer - God of luck, change, potential; associated with travel or transition from one state to the next. Often invoked to ask for the power to change one’s course. Seen as a capricious, cheerful sort. (Death/Chaos)
Common depictions - A carbuncle (Ayfer is also associated with dreams). An unusual cat, or humanoid with cat features. Dice, spinning tops. New moon.
Other names - The Gambler. Crossroads God. Puck.
