Sprout

Fairies of Chinkapin County. This name may not be the most accurate, since sprouts are a diverse group with families that resemble fungi as well as plant life. They believe themselves to be related to dryads, and often venture bravely into the Wolfwoods in the confidence that their larger cousins will protect them.
At least one fungoid sprout goes into the Wolfwoods to collect fungal delicacies (and not-so-delicacies) to sell to other county-dwellers.
