Meh

The world of Meh is similar to Earth, in terms of size, weather, gravity, and temperature. Relative to our own Earth in size, weather, gravity, and temperature. One of the few geological differences is that there are 10 months in a 360 day year, and a week is 8 days long. The days still move in 24 hour cycles.   There are 5 moons, created by one of the Gods; the Moon of Law, Moon of Chaos, Moon of Life, Moon of Death, Moon of Ether. These moons are what help maintain balance and order in the world. The moon of Ether is also known as the Moon of Light, as it is what also acts as a sun to the world.   In Meh, one’s faith plays a role in a person's life. It is commonly accepted that Meh was created by 8 Deities that govern fundamental domains of the universe. There is no question of the existence of these beings either, as the devout followers are able to channel divine power of their Deity, to both help and to harm. All nations have some national patron to a specific Deity. As a result, the lines between religion and politics are often blurred.   Even the arcane magic of wizards and sorcerers acknowledge the influence these deities have over their own abilities. Although some magics still act chaotic, and don't work as they should. These magics are often viewed with suspicion and even taboo.   Monsters in many forms, from Lizardfolk to Zombies, attack the countryside as much as they sell you wares. This is not just a world of exclusively humans but of many sentient races, most common are Dwarves, Elves, Halflings, Dragonkin, Gnomes, Orcs, Tieflings, and some hybrid races such as the goliath, half-elf, and half-orc.   Most people live a life of little importance in the world. Going about their day to day existing. Some might be exceptional at a craft or skill, but few strive to be more for some reason. There is conflict in the world, over a variety of reasons, such as territory or political differences, but the world is almost stagnant with it’s lack of change.   But something happened to a few people, that made them not want a world that was just meh, instead they sought Yeah! This is you, whether you know it or not, the one not wanting to be just meh... Live or disappear into blandness and banality.   Most people live a life of little importance in the world.
