Medaxia

Medaxia is a planet split by more than ocean - war.   Fyveria is the northern land, full of mountains and forges. Those born with magic in this land are able to effect the elements that naturally occur - from water and fire to the more specialized of metals and shadows.   Megave is the largest country, taking over a fifth of the planet by itself. However, only around ninety per cent of this land is occupied - the rest is pure wilderness, spanning from the deserts of the south to the jungle of the west. Those born here find themselves able to shift between their human skin to another form - and can choose to live as either.   Nadlan is little more than a collection of islands - but the occupants care little about that when their lives are dedicated to the ocean. Magic is the rarest in this country - but those that have it are considered precious resources, for they are able to heal and change the bodies of those around them.   All three find fault with the other - Megave is smuggling gold to Fyveria's rebels, Nadlan has kidnapped a long-lost princess of Fyveria, and Fyveria's King has lost his mind with worry. Nadlan has long since been intercepting Megave's trades with their own islands, and all countries are just about done. Their magics will only serve to kill each other.
