Radiant Cathedral

Construction of this great cathedral began in 3 PS by the Radiance. It started out as a small building, but the main structure grew to it's current size by 105 PS. The windows are filled with dazzling art of the Silverfall and bring hope to the citizens of Rovizek, who frequently come here to make offerings to the angels such as prayers and silver to help heal their wounds. Inquisitors don’t come to the cathedral much, as they believe that there's no point in asking angels for help when they can save themselves.

Purpose / Function

Acting as a safe place for the people of Rovizek, a home for the angel Zoi, and a meeting place for members of the Radiance. Sometimes ceremonies are held to honor angels, elves, and other great heroes or to ward off evil from the cathedral and the city.

Alterations

It's had a graveyard built, along with an attic for important people to hide in. Some extra side rooms have been made for important priests to live in. Additionally, more powerful magical and physical protections have been put into place around the Cathedral.

Architecture

Kind of a Gothic style, built with a darkish stone. Has colorful stained glass depicted battles between angels and vampires. The building is designed to let the sun in in many different places. The Radiant Cathedral is also made to inspire awe and safety in people who walk by. Statues of angels gleaming in the sunlight stand outside the main entrance doors, and remind people that the angels are there to protect them.

History

The city of Rovizek was actually built around the Cathedral, and the Radiance assisted in building Rovizek. The Cathedral hasn't ever been breached by vampires or werewolves, and it has many magical protections around it.
