Matlod

Insatiably curious and constantly seeking information, Matlod's greed has changed his form inside and out. Most depictions show a monstrosity. Three arms grabbing at all knowledge he does not yet possess on a muscled torso, eight reptilian eyes looking at all directions, where one may expect legs and feet, instead only one leg is human, the other ending in the talons of an owl's. Massive leathery wings reminiscent of dragons' come from his back, and his face is obscured by a hood from which two mismatched horns extend.
All interactions with him are said to go poorly, as those offering knowledge are harmed in the process. He does not reach gently into the minds of others, and his claws catch and drag on important things on their way out. Many instead offer books and papers to him, paintings and woodcarvings instead of allowing him access to their minds.
