Common Dress code
Jestoania has a deep emphasis on modesty in dress. This is in part due to subzero temperatures requiring heavy layers, which has caused the need for gloves and thick cloaks. The outer layers are rarely cleaned, instead the innermost layers are made of linen and changed regularly.
Common Customs, traditions and rituals
Bathing is done in private. Large bathrooms are laid aside in buildings, using colored marble and metal plating and filament. Hot water is brought up through taps, heated by furnaces below the first floor. Soaps using lye, colored powders, and fragrant oils are professionally made, carved, and sold to wealthier houses.
