Matrundi

The Island of Matrundi - a harsh and cruel world. It is an island in stagnant seas, surrounded by mysterious darkness, only kept at bay by the gray, blighted light of the Star. Its dark, orange skies, still gray waters, pale barren wastelands, and grim, foreboding forests are home to all manner of wonderous and horrible sights. Airships, held aloft by the amazing properties of Aether, are hunted by winged demons with fangs and claws sharp enough to shred through metal with ease. Massive demons lurk the deceptively calm depths, awaiting ironclad ships to pass within striking distance. Cities and outposts live in fear of the threat of demonic incursions and wars with their neighbors.
