Spoken Magic : Overview

The human mother-magic. Almost anyone can learn this magic, and it is by far the most wide-spread. This magic combines spoken word and intent in equal portions, and is always evolving. Spoken magic was given to humans by their god in the form of the knowledge of three words: Doh (Offensive), Lih (Creative), and Bah (Healing/Benificial). In the beginning, none of the words did anything. Through much trial and error, humans discovered there were other 'activation' words that they could add to the base 3, and they began documenting these words and their meaning.
To use spoken magic, you must also use one of the other 4 identifiers:
Me - Meh
You/It - Vu
Us - Mev
They - Vus
Format: Use an apostrophe (') to separate the words (Ex. Shield = Tala | Lih'meh'tala [Personal Shield])

Manifestation

When certain words are spoken, you tap into a magic pool set aside by the human god, allowing you to use the energy you find there for your spell. You have to 'mean it' for it to work, though. The way magic was first discovered was when humans began to add other sounds after the three 'instinct words'. If you don't 'mean it', the spell will be a weak, do-nothing version of what it could have been.

Localization

The spoken magic was, at first, specific to humans. However, once they found other races, they exchanged magics, and now spoken magic can be found nearly everywhere.

NOTE: If you 'create' something, it appears as a magical, shimmering, translucent-esque version of the real object, and requires a strong connection to maintain.

These words allow magic users to tap into a pool of energy used by the human god. They sectioned off a small portion for the beings of Mastu to use, and this is where a magician's power comes from. However, maintaining a connection with the pool is strenuous; practice is the key to strong connections.

Metaphysical, Arcane
