Slizzarí : Overview

The Slizzarí are a race of humanoid, snake-like creatures. While there are a few variants, they typically are covered in dark scales, and sport leg-length tails. While they are a relatively peaceful people, their relations with humans are far from friendly, and have gone to war on multiple occasions.

Personality

Like other races, the Slizzarí are a diverse people, sporting many views and opinions. However, most have a ‘live-and-let-live’ philosophy when it comes to other sentient beings. They are quick thinkers, being quite witty in conversation, and often try to outsmart one another. The rest cannot be generalized, however, as the Slizzarí differ greatly in personality.

Physical Traits & Other Abilities

While active and sporty in nature, size and grandeur isn’t common, or even a source of pride, among the Slizzarí. They focus on speed and agility, and are usually of a lithe build. They can grow relatively tall, averaging around 6’2”, though they only differ about a foot in either direction. They sport snake-like tails, around the length and size of a leg, which can flick back and forth, depending on mood. Though they have many features similar to a human, a nose isn’t one of them. They smell via two slits, right where a nose would be. This is the same in regards to ears and hearing. Though they lack these slight appendages, those senses are actually superior to those of a human. No other race can beat their sense of smell, which they put to good use when finding prey, edible plants, or even sensing when a potential predator has left.

They can hear and jump better than humans, but worse than Rahk'ka. Their sight is unparalleled, and they can use any type of magic, favoring their mother-magic, elemental.

Most Slizzarí live in towns or tribes, with the council members living in the largest city. While members aren't directly elected by the public, the public can riot if they make a bad choice, usually causing the member to step down.
