Levi'i : Overview

The Levi’i are creatures of flight, and are the only ones able to do so. These bird-people are generally colored on the cooler end of the spectrum, though you may see the odd yellow, orange, or red. They are often seen fluttering about in the tree-tops, chirping along in a foreign tongue. Though they may seem flighty, whether caring or competing, they see it through to the end.

Personality

Though it is hard to generalize, the Levi’i are pranksters, through and through. While some of it may seem mean spirited, keep in mind; it probably is. Most Levi’i have a hard time trusting other races due to the fact that most races don’t see them as much of a threat. They are seen as clumsy, dumb, and weak, though that is far from the truth. Despite this, Levi’i love the company of their own kind, and if you can find a ‘city kid’, there is a better chance they won’t have the racial trust issues that are oh-so-common among this race.

Physical Traits & Other Abilities

The Levi’i are quite short, only averaging about 2’11” in height, and they also don’t live as long as the other races. However, they do mature much earlier, at around 10 years of age, and are able to traverse the world much faster. They also have the keenest of eyesight, able to spot small rodents scuffling in the bushes from high in the sky. Their physical abilities are far from perfect, however, considering the fact that their hands aren’t quite as large or opposable as those of other races. Many Levi’i prefer to use their beak or taloned feet to carry objects, as well do other hand-related activities. That being said, they do love to use spears, and spar high in the tree-tops often.

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The eyesight of the Levi'i is astounding, allowing them to spot prey while flying. Their other senses are just below that of a human's, and they don't have any apparent mother-magic. Some speculate their flight is aided by their own, unique magic, but it is still uncertain.
