Euphoria

Euphoria is a continent on the planet Marrow. It is the founding continent of the main humanoid species. The countries on Euphoria include East and West Baolin, home of the dwarves, Oath, home of the humans and the most multi cultural country, The Wilds, home to the gnomes and halflings, Ludaan, home of the elves, Varowe, home of the dark elves, and Qi Wei, home of the Qi Wei Humans. Euphoria has been home to many great wars over the years. In place of Ludaan was Enlai, the country of the high elves in the Ancient Times. The son of the high elven leader ventured north into a land ruled by warring human and elven tribes, uniting them into the country Qi Wei. The leader of Enlai wanted to rule Qi Wei and so they went to war. Enlai lost in the end and that marked the end of the Enlai. Later, the elves banded together once again and Ludaan was born. The dwarves lived predominantly in the north west, in a country known as Baolin. During the Ancient Times Baolin was almost destroyed by a dragon, weakening the grip that their monarchy had. Baolin continues to be a monarchy but a revolution happened around the when the Ancient Times ended. The country split into two: East and West Baolin. The Western dwarves retreated further into the northern mountains and the Eastern Dwarves continued their line of kings. While both sides are technically governed under the same ruler (The Ironhammer lineage), The Western dwarves also have a dictator and strong armed reserves. It is dwarven nature to be protective of their own and the dwarves are survivalists to the extreme, still smarting from the destruction the dragon brought to their country. The Varowe elves, while appearing similar to the high elves, are actually very different. They share almost no gods and their culture has little connection. The Desert Elves society is a matriarchy. Their religion surrounds their patron goddess Loish who is the goddess of spiders. Supposedly guided by their goddess, these zealots began to prepare to invade Oath well into the Current Times. This was the most recent war in Marrow. Oath had little protection. Most of Oath's army is actually militia, led by the Special Guards Unit, also known as the Praetorian Guard. Oath drew on their strong diplomatic skills and got allies from Qi Wei and Ludaan, saving them from the Varowe elves. The elves eventually withdrew back into Varowe.

Geography

Euphoria is highly different in its geography but it basically holds to these rules: The north western tip is predominantly mountains. Then to the south it is farmland, then desert, and then The Wilds which are mostly untamed and uncharted. To the east is Ludaan which is mostly farmland or forest. The Northern area's of the east into Qi Wei is lush farmland and plains.
