Creation Story of the World- Gnomes, Halflings, Dwarven Mythos

When there was only the land of the gods, the chief god Rockra ruled over them. The gods were all creators in their own rights, but none compared to Rockra. Every day Rockra would work away in his workshop, making each of the gods gifts with his golden anvil. Then one day, as he was strolling through his palace gardens, he happened upon a minor goddess. Shatia was the goddess of beauty in invention. Rockra tried to speak to her but she did not reply as she pondered her latest projects. Rockra, enamoured, wanted to impress her with a beautiful invention of his own and so he set about making her a gift. First, he created the most beautiful flowers he could think of and presented them to her, but Shatia did not care. For her, he created the most delicious biscuit in the land of the gods, but she found it stale and dry. Finally, he asked her what she wanted and she said she wanted a land to call her own. Rockra had never made an entire world before, as no god or goddess had requested it. Rockra was too in love to refuse, so away he went. For three days and three nights he worked, and on the fourth morning he returned with a tiny crescent shaped continent in the middle of a vast ocean. Shatia’s eyes lit up when she saw it. Finally viewing Rockra with admiration, they returned to Rockra’s workshop to create creatures for Marrow, two inventors together and in love.
