Jack the Beanstalk

The Giant Beanstalk which anchors Cloud City together as well as to the greater landmass of Dawnhaven. Recently severed though the culprit is rumored. Some blame the arrival of Volcanis, other parties such as the Yuan-ti claim to be the mastermind behind the plot. The consequences of this break is one of the main reasons why the city is falling so quickly. This aligns with the parties known goals of both the orcs and fiends.

Purpose / Function

There is a potion of creation inside Erlameyer's Flask that might be used to repair the Beanstalk, The Storm Giant Blacksmith, Thestrus also created a plant slaying sword called Jack's Bane which is said to be able to cut right through the beanstalk. Thestrus claimed that his sword was stolen and returned the night the king was killed. The orcs climbed up the beanstalk with the intention of fulfilling a prophecy recovered when they raided the Children Of Eavallan Forest and extracted their prophecy of Guard'Deamon.
