Organization - Laeori Command

As an endangered race, the Laeori are a tight-knit group. They consider childbearing to be an obligation. To enforce this - and other norms of their society - their society has evolved an honor-system. It is considered worse to be dishonorable than it is to be dead in this society. Things that can be considered dishonorable include: Unnecessary violence to another person within society, not having children, not defending society, holding something selfishly from the society at large that could help them i.e. scientific advancement, not joining the military when the proper age is reached, or doing things without the societies knowledge. This society is governed by something approaching Martial Law. Every member of the society is obligated to join the military. Though this is not under force, it is at the risk of shame for those who don't. The leaders of society are also leaders of the military directly. It's rare for non-Laeori to be accepted as a member of society, but not nearly as rare for them to be considered an ally. 'Enemy of my enemy' is commonly practiced with care. The Laeori are untrusting even of their allies.
