Manifest Destiny

It's the first half of the Nineteenth Century, and it seems like the whole country is itching to move out and explore the Frontier. Folks keep moving, either in groups or alone, because something keeps calling 'em. People, scholarly types, seem to think it's got something to do with "expansion," but you know the truth: there's more to the Frontier than meets the eye. People leave for the Frontier, looking for something they'll never quite find. Whether that's land, or money, or freedom, the Frontier's got that in abundance. But people never quite seem to get it. The Frontier is more than just the land it encompasses. It is a force, like the wind or the Lord's Prayer. The Frontier changes people, and not always for the better. It seems like everything is magnified out there, from virtue to vice and everything in between. The Frontier works its magic into some people more than others, though. You're one of those folks. People in the know call you "Champions," or simply "Champs." Champions are those lucky or unlucky few who come to embody an archetype of the Frontier. Champions are capable of channeling Mana in order to do things most people don't realize are possible. What will you do with your power?
